Book Review - Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Synopsis
Pack life is about order, but Bryn is about to push all the limits, with hair-raising results. At the age of four, Bryn watched a rabid werewolf brutally murder her parents. Alone in the world, she was rescued and taken in by Callum, the alpha of his pack. Now fifteen, Bryn's been as a human among werewolves, adhering to pack rule. Little fazes her. But the pack's been keeping a secret, and when Bryn goes exploring against Callum's orders, she finds Chase, a newly turned teen Were locked in a cage. Terrifying memories of the attack on her parents come flooding back. Bryn needs answers, and she needs Chase to get them. Suddenly, all allegiances to the pack no longer matter. It's Bryn and Chase against the werewolf world, whatever the consequences.

My Review

Sometimes there are not enough words to express how I feel about a book...and this is one of those books but yet if you could have seen me the last 24 hours you would understand when I love a book there are no in between, it kills me to put it down, to do anything else, to go the toilet...anything I just read, read, read and more reading. Raised by Wolves had that effect on me!

The Characters where equally endearing and well thought out....I took a major liking to Byrn and Callum, even if parts of the novel was meant for me to hate him I didn't I sought out ways in my mind why I should still like him and I do no matter what happened or is planned to happen in the future. Byrn is a strong character and she gives off the vibe that she will take whatever you throw at her and she will stand tall and proud, she loves her independence and doesn’t like being dominated at all. Many of the other characters also called out to me and I admit I loved them there were 2 things that made my head swirl a few times...the name of Lakes weapon Matilda and the Name of the female werewolf who comes into the story later on Madison but getting over that in no time I was in a whirl wind of awww.

Jennifer Lynn Barnes writes and electrifying novel that kept me engaged from the moment I opened the book, its gripping storyline hit me from the first page not wasting anytime withering on minor details but keeping things perky and interesting throughout. I was drugged into the flow of Jennifer's writing and somehow even though it would have been a great standalone I WANTED MORE and the ending left me with the feeling...YES there will be a sequel and I am right there will be and I cannot wait.
So what you still doing here US readers get BUYING and UK readers get PRE-ORDERING.....i can still sense you ;o)

Happy Wednesday xx
